Hey Bros and Hos,

Friday morning I got a call from the NY Times to do a simple B&W illustration for the op ed pages that was due same day by 2pm. What a blast! I like the last-minute challenge because after the buzzer sounds its all over and that’s that. I’m sure if it didn’t work out I would have hated the experience, but even so there would have been a deadline. Ha!

Anyway, the article was basically about alternative medicine.

I did the following grip of drawings at my Friday night drawing workshop. I don’t draw from life these days very often but I actually had a really fun time making these marks. The cat is something else.

sorry no more for now but this is another stupid comp I worked up for Justice League. Round two designs now. This is based on someone else’s composition, i did the characters all on separate layers in photoshop so the graphic designers can mess around with the composition. When I come up with a design from the start I generally don’t like them to do that but on this one that was sort of the point. Anyway, it took me most of the day to do.
