“Stand Up Comic” drawings

Andy Flaster relived his stand up comic past with us last Thursday night while we listened to comedy bits by Henny Youngman, Myron Cohen, Bob Newhart, Woody Allen and Billy Crystal. I took lots of pictures of drawings, but many of them didn’t come out. I apologize if your drawing didn’t make it to the blog or if I put the wrong name on a drawing. we’re doing some crazy thing at work that means nothing to me. Anyway, i was asked to do an illustration of Malcom the lead character from Midway’s Unreal Tournament videogame series as a russian doll. finally figured out the coding to post these. 5 spreads I did for Esquire Russia on an story called “100 Cars We Love”. I had to do 100 specific cars mentioned in the story with a few specific actions happening in the spreads. It was a crazy job that I hated at many different moments while drawing it. but in the end I think it was worth it…. *click on thumbs to enlarge* -Josh
